Reserves Need Linesman - Could you Help ? |

The Reserves are advertising for anyone interested in being their regular linesman for all home and away game through their campaign to get promoted from the UCL Reserve Division 2. This role is an important role and will assist the club immensly in the smooth running of the reserve side. The UCL League states that it must not be a player from the substitutes bench so we are looking for someone who enjoys watching the club at all levels and is prepared to committ some time to assist us. St Ives Town FC will be represented at the St Ives Carnival 2009, at Warner's Park, on Saturday 11th July 2009. We will have a stall there giving out information about the upcoming friendlies, membership and season tickets and also looking at raising the profile of the football club to the general public.

Another date for your diary is the following Saturday (18th July) as the football club will also be supporting the St Ives Sports FEst at Nobles Field, adjacent to the Golf Club on Westwood Road. This should be yet another fun packed day with many different sporting activities taking place from 12noon.

The draw for the Hunts Senior Cup has seen the first team receive a bye to the Quarter Final, where they will meet Godmanchester Rovers, away, the game is due to be played on the 9/1. The winners will face Yaxley or AFC Fletton in the Semi Final. In the Scott Gatty the Reserves will meet Bluntisham at home, the winners will face Stilton at home in the Quarter Final, in the Benevolent Cup the Reserves will face Huntingdon RGE, the winners will face an away game at Fenstanton or Huntingdon in the Quarter Final. |

The draw for the 2009/10 FA Cup early rounds took place in the 01/07, in the Extra Preliminary Round, St Ives Town will face newly promoted Daventry United at Westwood Road on the 15th August. The winners of this tie will face a away tie at Soham Town Rangers.In the FA Youth Cup, the clubs Unders 18 will play Rothwell Town at Westwood Road, where the winners will play either Cogenhoe United or AFC Kempston Rovers. |
