Started his playing career with Hilton FC in 1988 competing in the Braybrook league. In 1994 was snapped up by Chatteris Town for a ‘nominal fee’ where he enjoyed two successful seasons before moving on to Ramsey Town. A short spell was enjoyed here at Westwood Rd before ending his playing days at Somersham Town. Joined the committee in the summer of 2008 to promote the club within the local community.

Sheldon Francis - Vice Chairman

Former player at Westwood Road, very pacey with a sweet left foot and was the target man who set up many goals for first team manager Jez hall. Also had spells at local sides Somersham and Warboys. Returned to the club in current roll in 2008. 

Greig Sarath - Secretary

Joined the committee in the summer of 2008 and has overseen the development of the club website, played his local football many years ago for Needingworth Utd reserves. Along with fellow committee member Sheldon ran a successful colts team at Needingworth between 1988 and 1993, currently enjoys watching both his sons play for local boys club St. Ives Rangers. After witnessing the FA Vase run of 2007/08 was persuaded by both his boys to get involved and help out at Westwood Road.

‘The Champagne man’ Was Commercial manager at Hemingford United between 2001 – 2004 before taking a break from football to pursue his love of the fizzy stuff. Persuaded in the summer of 2008 to come on board at Westwood Road and deal with the sponsorship / commercial side of things. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor at the club (no matter how large or small) please contact Mark at the club or even better approach him on a match day.

Stuart Martin - Operations Director

Stuart has lived in St.Ives for all of his life although never played football at a high level he got in involved to help improve and promote the club, as he believes in the potential. The main spark for his involvement came after the FA vase run in particular, he is involved with St.Ives Rangers as   Manager for there U9’s team and would like to see a link between the two clubs, he would like all children of St.Ives to aspire to play for ‘The Saints’ one day.

Paul Reason - Fundraising Director

Played in goal for the first team  between 1997 – 2001 also at county level during that period and prior to. Previously Paul has enjoyed playing at a relatively high standard to include Norwich City FC although work commitments and injuries shortened his career. Recently has become involved again, supporting the football in the community ethos by sponsoring the club for the past two seasons and playing a role on the committee, and Is encouraged by not only the potential of the club, but also by what is aimed to be achieved with the exciting times ahead.
