RIDGEONS YOUTH LEAGUE - WEST DIVISION

ST NEOTS TOWN U18 v ST IVES TOWN U18 (Thurs 25th Feb KO 7.45pm) 

Under 18's Assistant Manager; Steve Small spoke to website about tonight's Under 18 derby match with St Neots Town.

"We are really looking forward to this Thursday's league clash with St Neots for a number of reasons, not least is the lack of football over the recent weeks due to this awful winter! This game is important for us to take something from to help in our aim of a top four spot. As we saw earlier in the year when we played at Westwood Road, they are a good side and it took a good performance from us to get the result we did. We have a lot of lads looking to cement there place in the side in the run up to the end of the season, especially with a semi final of the Hunts youth cup coming up on March 8th at Westwood Road. On Thursday we will be concentrating on continuing on from the improving form of our last two wins, and applying the same discipline to our play. As for any local derby, and this is a big one for the club, we will be up for it on the night, and hope we can take some support with us" Steve Small
