The Saints completed a fantastic week of pre season football by beating UCL Divison One side 4-1 away from home with goals from Ozie Foster, Ricky Dear and Carl Foreman scoring twice for the Saints.

 

The game started brightly for the Cambridgeshire side and within 4 minutes they one goal to the good when Ricky Dear's bursting run was rewarded when he found space and drove his shot into the roof of the net. Only a few minutes later Ozie Foster made it 2-0 when his left footed low drive found the bottom of the goal.

After 65 minutes, the Wanderers pulled a goal back but the Saints still looked in control. Carl Foreman slotted home from the penalty spot and with 15 minutes to go a neat cross from the left saw Foreman with space to cleverly to lob over the keeper and into the top corner.

After the game, Saints Director of Media & Public Relations spoke to the website "The lads played well tonight and gave it their all. These games are certainly acting as a good test for some of the new players to settle into the squad" he added "I would like to say thank you to Andy Smith who helped us this evening and ran the line and to Chloe Smith and Dave Hook for the ir continued support"

The Saints take on Mildenhall on Saturday afternoon, kick off is at 3pm.
