Ives allocated NPL Midlands slot
The national league system allocations for season 2026/27 have been published today.
Following their relegation last season, St Ives Town have been allocated a place in the Northern Premier League, Midlands Division.
Also in the division will be Barwell who were relegated alongside the Ives. The Ives can look forward to renewing acquaintances with AFC Rushden & Diamonds and Nuneaton Town who were promoted from the United Counties League at the end of last season. Both look set to bring a strong travelling support to the Quattro-Tech Westwood Road. Whilst the likes of Basford, Long Eaton and Mickleover have all played the Ives in recent years.
