St Ives Town Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Field as their new Reserve Team Manager.

Mark arrives at the Quattro-Tech Westwood Road with a wealth of experience in grassroots football and spent a decade at Kimbolton Town Colts FC from 2014 to 2024. During his time there, he worked across all age groups (U8–U16), progressing to Head Coach in 2019. Alongside coaching responsibilities, he also served as Club Secretary, Charter Standard Coordinator, and Club Safeguarding Lead.

In 2018, Mark joined Cambridge United, where he has held several roles across the club’s youth development structure. These have included coaching in the Boys U16 Elite Squad, the Girls Development Centre, and the Boys Regional Development Centre. His work at Cambridge United has focused on early-stage player development, with an emphasis on technical ability and age-appropriate progression.

More recently, in 2024, Mark took on the position of First Team Manager at Riseley Sports FC building a player development pathway for young players to develop into the Riseley squad at step 7. In early 2025, he joined the coaching staff of the England Over 55s Veterans squad and continues to hold this post.

Commenting on his appointment, Ives director Gary Clarke said “We are delighted to welcome Mark to the club as our new Reserve Manager. Mark is an experienced manager and UEFA B coach with a strong focus on player development, and we believe he is the right man to take the team to the next level this season as we join the United Counties Reserves League”.

Mark will be assisted by Jack Clarke as the new management team begin to prepare for the league season which begins next month.
