Ives top the league for hospitality!
St Ives Town Football Club are celebrating after they finished top of the league for hospitality in the PitchingIN Southern League Premier Division Central.
The Ives finished with a score of 8.88, clear of Kettering Town on 8.71 in second and Harborough Town on 8.45 who were third. The marks were awarded by visiting clubs throughout the 2024/25 campaign.
Hospitality at the Quattro-Tech Westwood Road has improved significantly in recent times and during the season that has just finished, it was highly commended by the Padded Seat who conduct reviews of hospitality and catering at all levels of football.
Ives Chairman Paul Reason said “To finish top of the hospitality league is magnificent news for the football club. This area of the club has been transformed in recent times and has been consistently praised by sponsors and officials of visiting clubs. We are gradually improving the overall matchday experience and for our hospitality to be recognised with this award underlines the progress we are already making”.
The club is now taking enquiries for the 2025/26 season from individuals and companies who wish to experience the Ives award winning hospitality. Anyone interested should contact Paul Reason [email protected].
