Ex professional centre back Duncan started his career in the academy at Norwich City. On leaving the Canaries he moved to Lincoln City where in addition to appearing regularly in the youth side he was twice named in the first team squad for EFL Cup ties. Although not getting on to make his debut in either of those games his next move across Lincolnshire to Grimsby Town saw him make his professional debut in the 2020/21 season. He went on to make five more appearances for the Shrimpers before moving on again to Bristol City where he made two appearances during their Championship campaign. Loans then followed to Carlisle United, Yeovil Town and Bath City before his permanent move to Ireland to join League of Ireland Premier Division Derry City. A change of management at the Candystripes saw him released from his contract in the summer and a move back to England his given this classy defender chance to rebuild his career with the Ives
