Habib has joined the Ives on his return to the UK from Greece where he has been playing most recently for Third Division side SFK Pierikos. The creative midfielder has a couple of claims to fame having been an Under 17 World Cup winner with his native Nigeria in 2013. Prior to that he shot to fame in 2010 when as an eleven year old he won Red Bull Street Juggling Tournaments in Lagos and South Africa.

Having moved to the UK he spent time at Chelsea and Birmingham City before earning a four year contract at Leicester City. On leaving the Foxes he joined Northern Premier League Ilkeston Town before spending time with Jimmy Dean at Scunthorpe United.
