Reserves update 2025/26
St Ives Town reserves have made the switch to the reserve division of the United Counties League for the 2025/26 season.
The Ives second string have been playing in the Cambs League Senior B for the last couple of years, and last season finished in fourth place. However, for the forthcoming season, they will be in new surrounds.
As the name of the division suggests, all the teams in the league are reserves and the Ives will face the likes of Harborough, Daventry and Desborough but also a tasty looking local derby against Godmanchester Rovers.
Academy Manager and Reserves Assistant Jack Clarke said “Everyone within the 16+ pathway here at St Ives Town FC are excited to see what the future holds as we look to keep developing talented players for the future.
With the success of our recent U16 and U18 sides along with the progression of many players into the men’s game at various levels of non-league football, we now set our sights on a strong first season back in the UCL reserves division”.
New Reserve Team Manager
With this move, the club is now accepting applications for a new Reserves manager to head up the existing management team for the 2025/26. This is for someone who is passionate about player development and creating a strong link between our successful youth sides and men’s teams going forward.
Applications with CV’s to be forwarded to [email protected]. Deadline is Friday 27th June.
