Squad continues to build
Three weeks to go until the new season and the St Ives first team continues to take shape with two new signings.
Jessi Obeng joins the Ives after a spell at St Neots last season. An attacking player who can play anywhere across the top line, he has also played for Wellingborough and was an ever present scoring 20 goals for the Doughboys during their UCL South Championship winning campaign in season 2023/24.
Meanwhile, the club is delighted to announce that Ethan Keogh has signed first team paperwork. Ethan joined from Histon gaining experience in the EJA under 16 side for the Ives and then progressed to the Thurlow Nunn under 18 youth league. A central midfielder, he has been included in the squads for all the first team pre-season friendly matches so far, and has done enough to sign first team forms ahead of the new season.
